On December 3, 2025, a meeting was held at the regional akimat with representatives of several Chinese companies. The meeting was attended by M.R. Mulkay, Deputy Akim of the region, N.S. Otepbaev, Head of the Entrepreneurship and Industrial-Innovative Development Department of the West Kazakhstan Region, and J.P. Bekkaliyeva, Deputy Chairman of the Board of SPC “Aqjaiyq” JSC.

During the meeting, the possibilities of implementing projects for the construction of a transport-logistics hub, a gas-turbine power plant (GTPP), and a plant for the production of electric wires and cables were discussed.

Potential investors committed to soon submit comprehensive business plans for each project, specifying the required land plots, infrastructure, and technical conditions for utilities. After the submitted documents are thoroughly reviewed and agreed upon by all interested parties, agreements on the implementation of the new projects are planned to be signed.
